Francisco Alvarez-Demalde is the founder and managing partner of Riverwood Capital, and head of Riverwood’s New York office and its Latin America efforts. Prior to establishing Riverwood, Mr. Alvarez-Demalde was an investment executive at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) and Eton Park, where he focused on private equity investments in the technology industry and other sectors in North America, Latin America, and other emerging markets. Previously, he was with Goldman, Sachs & Co. He is a director of several companies including Globant, GoIntegro, Industrious, LAVCA, Navent, Netshoes, and Nubox. Additionally, he is a board advisor and former director of several other companies, including Alog Data Centers do Brasil, Conductor, CloudBlue, Mandic, MotionPoint, Pixeon, and VTEX. Mr. Alvarez-Demalde holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the San Andrés University.
