Daniela Milanese is a financial journalist with more than 25 years of experience covering Brazilian markets and economy. She joined Bloomberg News in 2015 in Sao Paulo, where she leads the Portuguese local language team, and is the co-leader for Bloomberg Women's Community. Prior to Bloomberg, Milanese was at Agencia Estado/Grupo Estado where she served as Executive Editor and had worked as a Brazilian correspondent from London. She was also a reporter at Folha de S.Paulo. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Casper Libero, attended a post-graduate course in financial markets at Fipecafi and holds a specialization in international relations from Birkbeck, University of London.
