Cristina Guevara

Cristina Guevara is a public policy programs associate at Americas Society/Council of the Americas, where she covers the Andean Region, the Women’s Hemispheric Network initiative, and her home country, Panama. Cristina has conducted extensive research on corruption, gender equality, public-private partnerships, and sustainable development across the Americas. She has a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the George Washington University, where she conducted fieldwork in Colombia on the country’s extractive industry, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Indiana. She joined the YPA Internal Committee in 2022 to help conceptualize and implement programs that connect and inspire young leaders who are passionate about Latin American development and prosperity.
