
Cristiane Kisil Spercel
Cristiane Kisil Spercel is a associate managing director in Moody’s Global Public Project, & Infrastructure Finance Group, where she manages the analytical team for Latin America. She also spearheads the rating agency coverage of sub-sovereign credits throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. In her role, Cristiane serves as a rating chair across various sectors, including toll-roads, energy and water utilities, natural gas pipelines, airports, PPPs, as well as regional local governments. Her expertise extends to leading the team on sector research and engaging in outreach activities with key market participants. Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Cristiane boasts over seventeen years of experience in the financial services industry. Since joining the firm in 2007, Cristiane has assigned and monitored ratings in a broad range of infrastructure segments encompassing both conventional and complex financial arrangements, solidifying her reputation as a trusted authority in the field. Previously, Cristiane held a senior analyst position with Moody's corporate finance team, focusing on high yield and financially distressed issuers in the real estate, construction, and transportation sectors until 2016. Prior to her tenure at Moody's, Cristiane managed a portfolio of fixed income investments at Bankboston Asset Management and sharpened her credit analysis expertise at WestLB. She holds a Master's degree in Finance from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Real Estate from the prestigious University of Sao Paulo.
