Claudio X. González is co-founder and president of both Mexicanos Contra la Corrupción y la Impunidad, a citizen initiative to combat corruption and impunity in Mexico, and its strategic litigation arm, Despacho de Investigación y Litigio Estratégico. González is also the co-founder and president of Mexicanos Primero, a citizen initiative that advocates to improve public education in Mexico, and its strategic litigation arm, Aprender Primero. Among other roles, González serves as the president and advisor of Bécalos, the largest program for non-governmental scholarships in Mexico and co-founder and honorary president of the Unión de Empresarios para la Tecnología en la Educación (UNETE), an organization that has delivered computers and internet to more than 8,000 public schools in Mexico. Prior to this, he served as co-founder and former president of Fundación Televisa. González earned a Ph.D in law and international relations, a master's in law and diplomacy from Tufts University, and a bachelor’s in law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico.
