
Camilo Durana
Camilo Durana is an executive vice president at Major League Soccer (MLS) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM), where he oversees the company’s partnership with Apple, its marketing organization, and its events groups. Recently, he also spearheaded the launch of Leagues Cup and oversaw SUM’s Properties and Match Business groups, managing sponsorship, match promotion, and event delivery partnerships with the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol, Concacaf, Conmebol, and Liga MX.
Prior to joining MLS/SUM, Durana served as the Global Director of Budweiser Sports and Entertainment at AB InBev, focused on the development of the Budweiser brand’s global sports and entertainment campaigns. Programming included the 2014 FIFA World Cup, branded entertainment and the launch of Budweiser’s first global music campaign. Prior to that, he helped build the Multicultural Marketing practice at Octagon Worldwide, consulting for a U.S. and Latin America-based client roster.
Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Durana and his family reside in New York City. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he attended as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
