Ana Paula Assis is the general manager for IBM Latin America since July 2017. Within her 20+ years of international experience in the IT industry, Ana has devoted her career to strategic business development, change management of large and multicultural organizations, and innovative leadership. She is recognized in the market as a thought leader on topics such as artificial intelligence and data responsibility. She is also committed to building an increasingly inclusive and diverse workplace as well as advancing education that boost skills of the professions of the future. Prior to this role, she was vice president software for IBM Greater China Group and general manager of Technology Services for Latin America. Ana is a board member of JA Americas. This year, she was recognized by Valor Econômico as "Executiva de Valor – TI & Telecom". She was also recognized by Forbes as one of the 20 Most Powerful Women in Brazil and one of the Most Powerful CEOs in Brazil.
