Aloysio Nunes Ferreira is Brazil's minister of foreign affairs. He previously was secretary general of the presidency and justice minister. He also served as vice governor, congressman, and senator of São Paulo state. In the Senate, he was a party leader and also head of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Commission and the Joint Commission on Intelligence Activities. Nunes Ferreira holds a law degree from the University of São Paulo. He also studied political economy at the University of Paris VII and political science at University of Paris I.
