He is responsible for the company's commercial strategies and the growth of the Valero brand. Valero is one of the largest independent refiners and marketers in the world. Carlos has more than 25 years of experience in trade and investment in the North American region, with 20 years dedicated to the energy sector. Prior to joining Valero, he held leadership positions at BP Mexico, Frontera Energy. Throughout his career, he also worked on developing unconventional gas fields in Eagle Ford and designing energy storage solutions.
