Come out and join Young Professionals of the Americas (YPA) for a night at the ballpark! America’s pastime has a global profile that has been enriched by its inroads into the Caribbean. On July 24 we will host an event on baseball diplomacy in the Caribbean in partnership with the Caribbean Educational and Baseball Foundation (CEBF), featuring Executive Director Thomas Goodman. A pre-game happy hour and discussion will explore the social and economic impact of baseball in the Caribbean, followed by an outing to see the Washington Nationals take on the Colorado Rockies at Nationals Park.
A portion of the happy hour proceeds will go to CEBF to support its mission of using a shared passion for baseball to build youth-focused bridges among the U.S. and its Caribbean neighbors.
Tickets are limited and will be issued to RSVPs on a first come, first serve basis.
