Overview

Join Young Professionals of the Americas for a book talk with Julián Delgado Lopera, the author of Pretend You're Dead and I'll Carry You. In conversation with YPA's Chase Harrison, Delgado Lopera will discuss his sophomore novel, which transports readers to the rivers, drag clubs, and dusty apartments of 1990’s Colombia—narrating a queer assemblage of morbid teens, dysfunctional families, and wellearned heartbreaks with, as he puts it, “Spanglish in quantities never before seen.”

After a conversation and Q&A, attendees will be invited to a drinks reception.

Registration will open soon.
