Overview

After a successful concert in 2019, Music of the Americas is pleased to invite a group of young guitarists currently enrolled in some of the City's leading conservatories—Juilliard, Mannes, Manhattan School of Music, and Hunter College—to perform on our virtual stage. This program gives us the opportunity to spotlight promising young guitarists and to help them familiarize themselves with the rich Latin American repertoire.

Musicians this year include Giuseppe Buscemi, Nathan Huvard, Miles and Ziggy Johnston, Brian Kirk, Gabriele Leite, Xiaobo Pu, Kristal Rojas, and Ryan Sullivan.
