Overview

Please join Council of the Americas for a private, off-the-record discussion on Venezuela with Miriam Kornblith, director for Latin America and Caribbean at the National Endowment for Democracy. She will share her views about the complex social, political, and economic situation of the country in the aftermath of the municipal elections taking place on December 8.

Kornblith has taught politics at the Central University of Venezuela, and from 1998 to 1999 she served as a board member and vice president of the Venezuelan National Electoral Council.
