The U.S.-Brazil Trade Relationship
Please join the Council of the Americas for a members-only, off-the-record luncheon conversation with Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Miriam Sapiro.
Overview
Please join the Council of the Americas for a members-only, off-the-record luncheon conversation with Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Miriam Sapiro.
Sapiro will address the bilateral trade and investment agenda. She will also discuss her September 10 to 12 trip to Brazil, where she led a U.S. delegation to the second meeting of the U.S.-Brazil Commission on Economic and Trade Relations. While in Brazil, Sapiro also addressed the Federation of Industries of São Paulo and participated in the Third U.S.-Brazil Innovation Summit in Rio.
This will be an outstanding opportunity to exchange ideas on priorities and prospects for progress in the wake of the postponement of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff’s state visit to Washington.
To Register: Please email us at as-coawashington@counciloftheamericas.org.
Please RSVP no later than 3:00 p.m. the day before the event.
