This panel is free. Kindly register in advance.
The panel discusses how fluxes of migration in Brazil, South America and the rest of the world are changing the architectural landscape and generating shifts in infrastructure that are transforming local cultures and communities. Speakers include José Esparza Chong Cuy (Executive Director and Chief Curator, Storefront for Art and Architecture), Julia Morris (postdoctoral fellow, The New School's Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility), and Agustin Schang (Columbia GSAPP Incubator program manager and independent cultural producer), moderated by María del Carmen Carrión (Project Manager of the Cisneros Research Institute at the Museum of Modern Art, New York).
