Member Webex: Regional Economic Implications of COVID-19

With increasing cases of COVID-19 being confirmed across Latin America and the Caribbean, regional governments are implementing stronger measures to combat the spread of the virus. Many countries have closed borders, instituted national quarantines and implemented social distancing protocols that have changed the lives of millions of people socially and economically.

Council of the Americas will hold a private discussion with Alexandre Meira da Rosa, vice president of countries at the Inter-American Development Bank, on the regional economic implications of the COVID-19 pandemic in Latin America and the Caribbean.
