Overview

Council of the Americas was pleased to meet with President Claudia Sheinbaum at Mexico's Palacio Nacional for a high-level dialogue with a distinguished delegation of senior executives from COA member companies. 

President Sheinbaum was joined by Secretary of Finance Edgar Amador Zamora and Secretary of Economy Marcelo Ebrard for this strategic discussion. The dialogue centered on Mexico's economic priorities, investment opportunities, and pathways for a deeper partnership between the business community and the Mexican government to advance shared growth objectives. 

The meeting reflects COA's ongoing commitment to convening key decision-makers and fostering meaningful public-private collaboration. It underscored the critical importance of sustained engagement between Mexico's leadership and the global business community as we work together to strengthen North America's competitiveness and promote Mexico's continued economic development.
