A Conversation on U.S.-Argentina Relations

Council of the Americas will hold a private, off-the-record discussion on the new opportunities for increased bilateral cooperation between the United States and Argentina with senior advisor to the secretary of state, Kristie Kenney. Ambassador Kenney recently returned from a visit to Argentina. She is the highest-level State Department official to visit the country in several years. 

As senior advisor to the secretary, Kenney provides strategic guidance on foreign policy, undertakes efforts to enhance U.S. diplomacy and outreach, and conducts special diplomatic assignments. Prior to this role, she was ambassador to Thailand, the Philippines, and Ecuador.
