Overview

Council of the Americas will hold an off-the-record discussion with the secretary of energy of Panama, Víctor Carlos Urrutia Guardia.

A hub for commerce, Panama has been a regional leader in energy infrastructure. The expansion of the Panama Canal would also position the country to become a network for LNG. This discussion will be an opportunity to discuss Panama’s role in energy in Central America and more broadly in the region.
