Overview

Council of the Americas and the Trade Advisory Group will hold an off-the-record discussion with Matthew Turpin, the director for China at the National Security Council.  

Turpin will discuss the global implications of the shifting U.S.-China bilateral relationship. As the two world’s largest economies are growing further apart, including being in the midst of a ‘trade war,’ what are the consequences for the rest of the Western Hemisphere?
