Canada in Caracas: A Conversation on Venezuela with Ambassador Ben Rowswell

Please join the Council of the Americas for an off-the-record discussion with Canadian ambassador to Venezuela, Ben Rowswell.

Ambassador Rowswell was posted to Caracas in February 2014. A graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, he is well-known in the Canadian diplomatic corps for his extensive professional background in democracy promotion. He previously served in Kandahar, Kabul, and Baghdad.

This is an opportunity to engage with Ambassador Rowswell in a discussion on Canadian-Venezuelan relations and the Canadian perspective on the continuing unrest in Venezuela.
