Americas Society and Galeria Nara Roesler present a conversation between Luis Pérez-Oramas (art historian and curator) and Claudia Calirman (Associate Professor of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York) who will discuss the work of Brazilian artist Antonio Dias. This panel is in conjunction with the exhibtion Antonio Dias: Ta Tze Bao currently on view at Galeria Nara Roesler, New York. The work exhibited is from an early and important series that appropriates mass media as a lens to examine culture and politics.
