AS/COA co-hosted a discussion with the City of Miami and Miami Dade College on Haiti and how best to move forward in terms of governance, investment, and development. Panelists addressed the role of the international community and opportunities to work effectively with the new Martelly administration. Ambassador Jorge Heine also presented findings from his recent book Fixing Haiti: MINUSTAH and Beyond (United Nations University Press, 2011).
