This issue showcases selections of fiction, poetry, creative essays and images by writers and artists from the Caribbean and its diaspora.

Review 74 opens with a section of scholarly articles culled by guest Editor Silvio Torres-Saillant (Syracuse), covering a range of topics such as multilingualism in the Francophone Caribbean canon, trends in Anglophone and Hispanic Caribbean literatures, and the "crystalline" nature of Dutch Antilles writing. This issue also showcases selections of fiction, poetry, creative essays and images by writers and artists from the region and its Diaspora. These include new and newly-translated works from Spring 2007 program participants and others, such as Achi Obejas, Luis Rafael Sánchez, Frank Martinus Arion, Marie-Celie Agnant, Anna Lidia Vega Serova, and Denis Henriquez.
