Fact Sheet: The U.S. Benefits from the Current System of Economic Engagement and Openness

This fact sheet illustrates how open markets have benefitted the United States economically and depicts how, contrary to claims that free trade creates adverse effects for the U.S. economy, the American manufacturing and services sectors are booming currently and have been growing steadily over recent years. This infographic also shows that Americans increasingly favor trade in spite of politically-charged rhetoric.
