“What am I really good at? What do I do that is natural for me? What are some of the skills I need to develop to be successful in the future?” These are questions Priscila Jones of SAP Learning told participants to ask themselves a workshop held at the 10th annual AS/COA Women's Hemispheric Network Conference: Miami. The workshop dove into leadership skills for thriving amidst uncertainty, fostering an inclusive workplace, and building resilience for sustainable success.
Jones shared personal stories of how she overcame times of change, emphasizing that changes are constant on both the personal level and company level. Amid emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and information overload, she highlighted the importance of going back to the basics, fostering connection, and mentoring others. “At the end of the day, it’s all about people.”
She also shared tools for professionals in companies going through changes. She highlighted the importance of communication, information, and transparency from leadership during significant change to help the entire team move on from the initial shock and embrace the shift.
