"I do believe that you have to say to people it's unacceptable to not have enough women at the table. You have to change the standard," says AS/COA President and CEO Susan Segal when talking about gender equality in the business world. For her, that's crucial for Latin America: "We won't have change in Latin America if we don't find a space for women to be successful."
Segal spoke with Humanitas360 Institute on the sidelines of COA's BRAVO Business Awards, discussing the lack of women in middle management and the potential of small and medium entreprises to redefine Latin America's economy. Entrepreneurship, she says, could be the way to bring growth and include women, as well as millennials, in the economy.
