Rather than making the case that gender diversity is a social good or justice, we must highlight its undeniable economic value, said the INCAE Business School research director.
"The problem is gender diversity in leadership," said Susan Clancy, "You all will make it to middle management positions, but at every subsequent level you will drop out." Clancy, the research director of INCAE Business School's Center for Collaborative and Women's Leadership, gave the closing remarks at the 5th Annual AS/COA Women's Hemispheric Network Forum in Miami, outlining the barriers and the changes necessary to get women into leadership roles.
