Americas Society/Council of the Americas President and CEO Susan Segal was awarded Peru’s Order of “Merit for Distinguished Services” in the rank of Grand Official for her outstanding contribution to the promotion of Peru as a leader in the hemisphere and for her commitment to the strengthening of economic, political, diplomatic, and cultural ties between Peru and the United States. On September 13, Peru’s Ambassador to the U.S. Carlos Pareja bestowed the decoration upon Susan Segal on behalf of the President of Peru, Martín Vizcarra.
