Noah Mamet

U.S. Ambassador to Argentina

Noah B. Mamet is the U.S. ambassador to Argentina since December 2, 2014. Previously, Mamet founded the business and political consulting firm Noah Mamet & Associates in 2004, after serving for seven years as senior advisor for the U.S. congressman and House Democratic leader, Richard A. Gephardt. Over the last 10 years, Mamet oversaw company operations in the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices, consulting for nonprofit organizations such as Global Green USA and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, as well as several California-based clean tech companies. Mamet has been a top advisor to various Democratic presidential candidates and numerous Senate, House, and gubernatorial campaigns. During the 2012 election, he served on the Obama-Biden National Finance Committee. From 2005 until 2008, Mamet worked with the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative. Mamet is a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy. He previously served on the boards of the Los Angeles-based Green Dot Public Schools and NatureBridge. Mamet has also been a member of the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) and was selected to be part of an ACYPL delegation trip to Japan. He holds a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
