Michelle Caruso-Cabrera has 30 years of experience at the nexus of finance, economic development, and communication. She is currently the chief executive of MCC Global Enterprises.
Caruso-Cabrera was the first Latina anchor at CNBC and the network’s first chief international correspondent for over a decade. She joined CNBC in 1998 and spent more than 20 years covering economic crises and international markets as well as interviewing presidents, prime ministers, and CEOS. She has reported live from Ukraine, Russia, Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, Greece, Italy, and Mexico, just to name a few. She began her career at Univisión Spanish-language news in 1991, where she produced stories relevant to the immigrant experience. In 1993, she received an Emmy for a series she co-produced on the AIDS Crisis. Hispanic Magazine has named her one of the most influential Hispanics in America.
An experienced corporate director, she sits on the board of The Wendy’s Company and is a member of the International Advisory Board of the Instituto Empressa in Madrid, one of the world’s top business schools. She also served on the board of Del Real Foods, a portfolio company of Palladium Equity until 2024. A lover of the arts, Caruso-Cabrera served on the Board of Directors of Ballet Hispánico in NYC for more than 20 years and as board president the last 5 years of her tenure. She is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, the Economic Club of NY, and the Latino Corporate Directors Association. Michelle has a BA in economics from Wellesley College.
