Mariano Bosch

Cofounder and CEO, Adecoagro

Mariano Bosch cofounded Adecoagro in 2002 and since then has been the chief executive officer and a member of the company’s board of directors. Adecoagro is one of the leading companies in the production of food and renewable energy in South America. Present in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, its main activities include the production of grains, rice, dairy products, sugar, ethanol, energy and land transformation. Adecoagro is listed in NYSE by AGRO, with a market capitalization over $1.3 billion. From 1995 to 2002, Bosch served as the founder and chief executive officer of BLS Agribusiness, an agricultural consulting, technical management, and administration company. Bosch is also currently a member of the advisory board of Teays River Investments LLC, a farmland investment management firm in North America. Bosch has over 21 years of experience in agribusiness development and agricultural production. He actively participates in organizations focused on promoting the use of best practices in the sector, such as the Argentine Association of Regional Consortiums for Agricultural Experimentation (AACREA) and the Conservational Production Foundation (Producir Conservando). He graduated with a degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Buenos Aires.
