James M. Lambert is a former diplomat and ambassador (1982-2015). He is a Canadian thought leader on multilateral diplomacy, and relations with Latin America and Caribbean. Lambert currently provides multilateral stewardship at the Organization of American States. As a member of Secretary General's Cabinet, the Secretary for Hemispheric Affairs oversees OAS programs addressing democratic governance and open government, as well as Summits of the Americas Process. Responsible also for Public and Cultural Diplomacy through management of the Art Museum of the Americas. Curent board memberships include OAS Trust of the Americas.
