Geraldo Júlio de Mello Filho is secretary of economic development of the Government of Pernambuco. Prior to holding his current position, he was also secretary of planning and management of the Government of Pernambuco. Mr. Mello worked at the Ministry of Science and Technology from 2005 to 2006, served as secretary of internal control, planning and finance of the Municipality of Petrolina from 2006 to 2005. He was also the planning director of the management secretariat of the Municipality of Recife from 2000 and 2001. Mr. Mello received a degree in Management and a post graduate degree in Public Administration, both from Universidade de Pernambuco.
