Agustín Rossi
Agustín Rossi is an Argentine civil engineer and politician. He was a member of the National Chamber of Deputies from 2005 to 2013 and from 2017 to 2019.
Starting his political career in the city of Rosario as a councilor between 1987 and 1991, and again between 2002 and 2005, he served as the Minister of Defense of the Nation (2013-2015, 2019-2021), national deputy for his home province (2005-2013, 2017-2019), being the head of the ruling party bloc for Frente para la Victoria in both periods, a candidate for governor of Santa Fe in 2011, and director of the Federal Intelligence Agency between 2022 and 2023. Since February 15, 2023, he has been serving as the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nation. On June 23, 2023, he presented himself as the vice-presidential candidate alongside Sergio Massa for Unión por la Patria in the 2023 presidential elections.
Agustín Rossi es un ingeniero civil y político argentino. Fue miembro de la Cámara de Diputados de la Nación desde el 2005 hasta el 2013 y desde el 2017 hasta el 2019.
Comenzando en política en la ciudad de Rosario como concejal entre 1987 y 1991, y entre 2002 y 2005, fue ministro de Defensa de la Nación (2013-2015, 2019-2021), diputado nacional por su provincia natal (2005-2013, 2017-2019), siendo jefe de la bancada oficialista del Frente para la Victoria en ambos periodos, candidato a gobernador de Santa Fe en 2011, y director de la Agencia Federal de Inteligencia entre 2022 y 2023. Desde el 15 de febrero de 2023 ejerce como jefe de Gabinete de Ministros de la Nación. El 23 de junio de 2023 se presentó como candidato a vicepresidente junto a Sergio Massa por Unión por la Patria en las elecciones presidenciales de 2023.
