Overview

Join us in New York for a two-part event with William Maloney, the World Bank's chief economist for Latin America and the Caribbean, who will discuss his latest book, Reclaiming the Lost Century of Growth: Building Learning Economies in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a broad yet nuanced perspective on the region's economies. They will look at present-day challenges facing economies from Mexico to Argentina, and how the region fits into a broader changing world.

Maloney will discuss his book with Americas Quarterly Managing Editor José Enrique Arrioja at a public discussion at 6:00 p.m. RSVP for the discussion here. Prior to the book discussion, there will be a coffee reception with Maloney at 5:30 p.m.
