New York: A Bridge Too Far or a Place Called Home for Latin American Arbitration?
AS/COA will host a panel of experienced practitioners to discuss Latin American arbitrations based in New York.
Overview
In a world in which arbitration capitals seem to proliferate, what does New York have to offer? Why are so many arbitrations with a strong Latin American connection seated in the United States and in New York in particular? Does it save time and money? Does it make the process more reliable? What works and what can be improved in New York’s arbitration laws and practices in order to continue attracting Latin American arbitrations?
Americas Society/Council of the Americas, in partnership with the New York International Arbitration Center, will host a panel of experienced practitioners from New York and from across Latin America to discuss these and many other related topics.
