Leopoldo López is the former mayor of Chacao, Venezuela, and founder of Voluntad Popular, a Venezuelan national grassroots political movement. As one of the country's most prominent politicians, he is one of the main opposition challengers to President Hugo Chávez. López discussed Venezuela’s political and economic outlook leading up the presidential elections in December 2012.
