On December 17, President Barack Obama announced that the United States would normalize U.S.-Cuba relations, as well as the release of the U.S. contractor Alan Gross. AS/COA’s Christopher Sabatini spoke on WNYC’s The Brian Lehrer Show about the flaws under existing policy. "There is no real evidence that Cuba is sponsoring terrorism or is a geostrategic threat."
