AS/COA Honored with 2010 Jóvenes Líderes Award

Americas Society and Council of the Americas were honored by Jóvenes Líderes with the 2010 Spirit of Latin America award, received by AS/COA President and COA Susan Segal on November 4.

Americas Society and Council of the Americas were honored by Jóvenes Líderes with its Spirit of Latin America award, which  AS/COA President and CEO Susan Segal accepted on November 4, 2010. Jóvenes Líderes is a private Chilean organization whose mission is “to be an access point for better personal and professional opportunities for Chile’s youth.”

Jóvenes Líderes recognized 11 organizations for their role in helping “put Chile on the road to become a leader of development in Latin America,” including AS/COA. The recipients, which included businesses and social, cultural, and public organizations, received the awards for business initiatives and social contributions in Chile.
