Video: Savoring the Flavors of the Pacific Alliance

Ceviche, quinoa, steak, arroz con leche: Chef Francisco Mandiola showcased the flavors of the Pacific Alliance—Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru—on September 21, when the countries' leaders participated in a panel at the Americas Society/Council of the Americas in New York. 

The award-winning Chilean chef, selected by his country's government to coordinate the dinner, talks about the international operation of building a menu representing the flavors of the Pacific Alliance bloc. For Mandiola, gastronomy is a "potent instrument to build connections and share instrinsic cultural aspects of each country."
