CCTV America: Eric Farnsworth on U.S. and China's Role at APEC

President Xi Jinping of China and U.S. President Barack Obama met at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Lima, Peru to discuss trade relations during a period of transition for the United States. Council of the America's Vice President Eric Farnsworth shares how the potential impact of a Donald Trump presidency shaped the international forum, telling CCTV America, "People are suggesting that maybe the United States is a little bit exhausted in terms of its global role, and that impression coupled with, it seems, the readiness for China to step into that void really is making a huge impact in Lima."
