BizAsia America: Farnsworth on the Continuing Unrest in Brazil

COA Vice President Eric Farnsworth talks to BizAsia America about how the protests in Brazil have gone beyond bus fares, and evaluates how well the Brazilian government addressed the protests. "[The government] really did not take this seriously and now they're trying to catch up, play a little bit of defense," explains Farnsworth. He also anaylzed the Brazilian president's speech about the demonstrations. "I think what the president said was predictable, that there would be more social spending, but ultimately that's not the issue, the issue is responsive governnance, the issue is anti-corruption," notes Farnsworth.
