Wilson Poit

Wilson Poit is secretary of privatization and partnerships in the city of São Paulo. He is a manager, speaker, and serial entrepreneur, having served as businessman, member of the board of many companies, and founder of Poit Energia—a leading company in the supply of temporary power in Brazil with operations in other countries in Latin America. Poit was president of SP Negócios, a state company that develops infrastructure projects and attracts foreign investment. He was also president of São Paulo Turismo (SPTuris)—a state company for tourism and events—and tourism secretary in the city of São Paulo. In 2009, Poit was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst&Young, and in 2015 he was recognized as a high-impact entrepreneur by Endeavor Brasil. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electric engineering.
