Ricardo Ubiraci Sennes

Managing Partner, Prospectiva and General Coordinator, Group of International Analysis at University of São Paulo

Ricardo Ubiraci Sennes is managing partner of Prospectiva – Consulting Firm on Public Policies and International Business and the general coordinator of the Group of International Analysis (GACINT) at University of São Paulo (USP). Prior to his current position, he was coordinator of the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) in São Paulo, and was co-coordinator of the International Section of the Brazilian Scenarios Project (Brasil 3 Tempo 2022 project), handled by federal government. Sennes has been engaged in projects related to South America Regional Integration, Energy and Infrastructural Market and Regulation, Aerospace and Defense Industry, International Trade in Services, Political, and Economic Scenarios of Brazil and Latin America. He has also conducted research for the International Relations Center at the University of São Paulo (USP), for the Woodrow Wilson Institute in Washington, D.C., and for the Iberian and Latin American Studies Center at the University of California in San Diego. Sennes earned a PhD in international relations, MA in political science from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).
