Juan José Aranguren
Juan José Aranguren has been Argentina’s minister of energy and mining since December 2015. Previously, he served as president of Shell Argentina. He held several positions in Shell, from technical auditor in the Dock Sud refinery to economist at the Shell refinery in Geelong, Australia, as well as a number of managerial positions in Shell’s commercial wing in Latin America and Africa. In 1997, he was appointed vice president for supplies and marketing, and in 2000 he became vice president for the automobile market for the Southern Cone countries. He has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Buenos Aires.
Juan José Aranguren es ministro de energía y minería de Argentina desde diciembre de 2015. Anteriormente, fue presidente de Shell Argentina. Allí ocupó diversas posiciones, como auditor técnico en la refinería de Dock Sud y economista en la refinería de Shell en Geelong, Australia, así como cargos comerciales para África y América Latina. En 1997, fue nombrado vicepresidente de Suministros y Marketing, y en 2000 se convirtió en vicepresidente para el mercado del automóvil para los países del Cono Sur. El Sr. Aranguren es licenciado en ingeniería química de la Universidad de Buenos Aires.
