Hernán Rincón

President, Microsoft Latin America

Hernán Rincón is president of Microsoft Latin America. He is responsible for the long term business strategy for the 46 countries and territories in Latin American and the Caribbean in which Microsoft has presence. Before being named president, Rincón served as the sales, marketing and services vice president for Microsoft Latin America, in charge of leading sales for small and mid-size businesses, OEM Manufacturers, large corporations, and local governments, as well as Microsoft’s extensive Partner ecosystem. Prior to joining Microsoft, he was president and CEO of Ferag Americas, a Swiss company specializing in state-of-the-art, high-tech solutions for the printed media industry. At Unisys, where he worked for 11 years, Rincón held several positions at the company’s global headquarters in Pennsylvania, including global chief information officer and worldwide vice president of the Financial Services Line of Business. He holds a Master’s degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University as well as a Master’s degree in industrial engineering from the Andes University in Colombia and a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from the State University of New York.
