Ari Matusiak

Special Assistant to the President and Director of Private Sector Engagement, The White House

Ari Matusiak is special assistant to the president and director of private sector engagement, where he serves as executive director of the White House Business Council, coordinating the administration’s interaction with the business community. In that role, he helps to ensure that entrepreneurs, small business owners, and corporate and financial leaders alike are aware of and have input into the administration’s efforts to spur job creation and promote long-term economic competitiveness. Matusiak has extensive experience in community and economic development and in building strategic collaboration between the public and private sectors. He has degrees from Brown University and Georgetown University Law Center.
