Reception for Western Hemisphere Subcommittee Chairman Cook

Council of the Americas will hold a reception in honor of Representative Paul Cook, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere.

Chairman Cook (R-CA) was first elected in November 2012. He represents California’s eight Congressional District. As chairman he has sought to prioritize a number of issues including Venezuela, the Northern Triangle, law enforcement, and democracy.

Chairman Cook is also a member of the Armed Services and Natural Resources committees.
