Cate Ambrose
President and Executive Director, Latin American Venture Capital Association
Cate Ambrose is president and executive director of the Latin American Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LAVCA). She speaks and writes regularly on a range of topics related to public policy and private investment in Latin America and is a regular commentator on CNN En Español. Ambrose is also a special advisor to the board of the Mexican Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AMEXCAP).

Enrique Bascur
Managing Partner, Latin America, CVCI Private Equity
Enrique Bascur leads CVCI Private Equity’s business in Latin America as a managing partner. He has been active in private equity in Latin America since 1998. He joined Citigroup's private equity area in 2000 and led the Santiago, Chile office until 2004. Prior to his involvement in private equity, he was Citigroup's corporate finance head in Chile. Between 1992 and 1997, Bascur was a senior banker at Bankers Trust in New York, focused on capital markets and M&A transactions across the Latin American region.

Fernando Borges
Managing Director, The Carlyle Group
Fernando Borges is a managing director and the head of the Carlyle South America Buyout group. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Carlyle’s three portfolio companies in the region: CVC Brasil Operadora e Agencia de Viagens S.A., Latin America’s largest travel services company; Qualicorp Participações S.A., one of the largest healthcare benefit administrators in Brazil; and Scalina S.A., a leading hosiery and lingerie producer in Brazil.

Nnamdi Okike
Vice President, Insight Venture Partners
Nnamdi Okike is the vice president of Insight. He has extensive experience in the internet and software industries as a principal investor, operator, and consultant. Okike has worked closely with several current and former Insight portfolio companies, including Astaro (acquired by Sophos), Hitwise (acquired by Experian), DivX Networks, Privalia, and Groupalia. Okike is an active investor in Brazil and has a strong interest in Brazilian entrepreneurship. He works closely with Insight’s Brazilian portfolio companies KaBum and Folhamatic.

Scott Voss
Managing Director, HarbourVest Partners
Scott Voss is a managing director who joined HarbourVest in 1999. He transferred to the firm's Hong Kong-based subsidiary in 2011 to complement the primary partnership team's venture, cleantech, and developing Asia capabilities. He has also focused on primary partnership investments in the United States and Latin America and collaborated with the secondary team on several investment opportunities.
